This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how PRIMETRACE TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED ("PrimoCut", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, processes, and discloses personal data of users who access or interact with the PrimoCut mobile application, a content creation and editing tool for creators on the Crafto platform ("Platform").

This Policy is issued in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and, to the extent applicable, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it. By using our Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

PrimoCut does not collect sensitive personal data such as financial account details, health data, or passwords, and does not create or store biometric identifiers from your content. We collect limited personal data necessary to provide our services. This includes:

• 1.1 Information You Provide:

  • Mobile number (required for OTP authentication)
  • Name, profile photo, and creator details linked to your Crafto or Primodesk creator account
  • Email address (optional)
  • Content you choose to import, record, create, or edit on the Platform, including photos, videos, audio, voice recordings, text, and captions
  • Messages and information you share with our support team

• 1.2 Information Accessed with Your Permission:

  • Camera: to record photos or videos within the app
  • Microphone: to record voice-overs or audio
  • Photos, videos and storage: to import media you select for editing and to save exported content to your device
  • Notifications: to send you updates about your projects, exports, and uploads

  We access only the media you select or create within the app. We do not scan or upload your entire gallery. You can withdraw these permissions at any time through your device settings, although some features may then stop working.

• 1.3 Information Collected Automatically:

  • Device model, operating system, app version, and device identifiers
  • IP address and general (city-level) location data
  • Usage data such as features, templates, effects, and music used, time spent editing, and export and upload activity
  • App crash reports, diagnostics, and performance logs

• 1.4 Payment Information:

  • All payment transactions are processed by third-party payment gateways (e.g., Razorpay, PhonePe, Paytm, Google Play Billing). We do not store your card, UPI PIN, or bank account details. We may receive limited transaction information such as payment status, transaction ID, amount, and plan details.

2. How Your Content Is Processed

• Editing: Most editing is performed on your device. Some features, such as rendering, cloud drafts, or AI-assisted tools, may require your media to be uploaded to and processed on our servers or those of our service providers.
• AI-Assisted Features: When you use AI features (for example, auto-captions, background removal, voice, or visual enhancements), the relevant media or text is processed only to deliver that feature. Facial or voice data processed for such features is not used to identify you and is not stored as a biometric template.
• Uploads to Crafto: When you choose to upload content to Crafto, that content and related metadata are shared with the Crafto platform and are also governed by the Crafto and Primodesk privacy policies.
• Drafts: Drafts and projects may be saved on your device and/or on our servers so that you can continue editing later.

3. Purpose of Collection

• Account login and authentication (via OTP)
• Providing editing tools, templates, music, effects, and AI features
• Saving, rendering, and exporting your projects
• Enabling uploads of your content to Crafto and linking your activity with your creator account
• Content moderation and enforcement of our Terms of Service and community guidelines
• Fraud detection and account security
